“We contacted Buffalo Ridge for a custom fire pit in our back yard. We live in a close neighborhood development and wanted something that was cozy and elegant while not losing a large portion of our already small yard. Aaron and Mike were so helpful and worked tirelessly to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. We were so excited when we saw the plans they had put together and they were able to start building immediately. No waitlists or empty promises! The building crew was very respectful of our home and yard as well as our neighbors. We did not get a single complaint from the neighbors which is rare for a project this extensive in a neighborhood so densely populated! Overall we could not be more pleased with the finished product and will be recommending Buffalo Ridge Builders to anyone who needs a custom project done how they want for a reasonable price!”

"I have worked in the construction industry for over 15 years as a structural engineer and project manager, and understand how important it is to have an experienced, honest and motivated superintendent on the job.  I was fortunate enough to work with Aaron Ribble on a solar array project at Washington State University in 2016 and was impressed with his construction knowledge and communication skills.  Initially, the project got off to a rough start until the contractor decided to bring Aaron on board to manage the day-to-day job site operation.  He quickly turned things around and was able to finish on time and on budget.  I look forward to working with Aaron again in the future."

—Phil Johnson, Project Manager Lead at WSU

“Aaron was in charge of an extremely difficult project for WSU.  He successfully managed a complicated renovation and addition to two buildings with a tight schedule on an active campus.  He worked tirelessly and sacrificially to complete the work in time for students to move in for the fall semester.  This required tremendous skill and expertise dealing with a faulty design which required dozens of modifications along the way.  This project would probably not have been completed if Aaron was not in charge.”

A Letter of Recommendation

Dear Committee Members,

I write to support Aaron Ribble in obtaining the Building Superintendent position at the University of Idaho Housing Department. I have known Aaron for several years and have found him to be accountable, determined, hardworking and reliable. His general demeanor is congenial and yet professional in his work setting.

In my capacity of Building Safety Inspector I have worked with Aaron since the University employed him in Housing Maintenance. Our contact consisted of conducting annual industrial Safety inspections together of all the Housing facilities wherein I generate reports of discrepancies in compliance to the state’s adopted standards that would prompt action on the part of the University to make the repairs or the changes in practice needed to gain compliance.

Aaron has stood out in comparison with similar staff in other departments because of his commitment to getting his job done. Unlike others, he followed up with me on what was needed and would frequently consult with me to find better or simpler solutions. Under his stewardship remediation of past discrepancies was done quickly and he eliminated many that had been repeated for years. Having him on board has produced remarkable results.

Aaron demonstrated that he is a quick study and his experience with past trades as well as his teamwork attitude and commitment to results will make him a good fit for the position Building Superintendent. Thank you for considering my recommendation and please don’t hesitate to contact me if I can be of further service.
